Peconic River Herb Farm Engagement Session || Sara & Anthony in Calverton, NY

I’ve known both Sarah and Anthony for a while and when they approached me to capture their wedding day, I couldn’t say no. I actually met them both around the same time when I used to work at the Middle Country Public library in high school. It was a job that had me re-shelving books, setting up programs such as teen night that included video games (smash bros never got ejected from the Wii) and karaoke (which i will admit I might have joined in on a few times) and possible local band concerts from some high school bands that I will honestly admit were pretty damn good.

With so many great choices for engagement session locations, it was a challenge picking a location but we all decided on the Peconic River Herb Farm in Calverton, NY. A gorgeous (you guessed it) herb farm situated on a quiet piece of land with a pond front dock, multiple adorable barns and sheds, and a perfectly lit green house that makes it really easy to take gorgeous photos. The entire location is literally perfect, seriously.

The afternoon light was perfect with rays peeking through the tree lined property; the two made it very hard to take a bad photograph.
