A Montauk Engagement | Mat & Matt

When Matthew reached out to me to capture his engagement session with his fiancé Mat, the final decision was one I didn’t even have to think twice about making and since Matt’s mom was my babysitter when I was young (Jeanne you were the best!), I’ve known the Wunsch family for a while.

We decided on Montauk for their session as it held a special place in their hearts. “The End” as it is referred to by most Long Islanders, it’s the furthest eastern point on the island. Steep, eroded cliffs line Camp Hero state park (Stranger Things vibes) with the Atlantic Ocean meeting the lighthouse within one hundred feet. Sunsets here are stunning and sunrises, oh the sunrises, are unreal.

We laughed, we hiked (no ticks, thank goodness), we popped champagne, and we created gorgeous photos.
