Old Field Club Wedding Photography | Emma and David
I had the pleasure of photographing Emma and Dave's wedding day at the Old Field Club in Stony Brook, and it was truly a memorable experience. The Old Field Club is one of my favorite venues on the north shore for several reasons. Firstly, it holds a special place in my heart as it was the location of my first wedding shoot many years ago. Secondly, it's a quaint location with only one wedding at a time, which makes it feel intimate and exclusive. Lastly, the stunning backdrop of the Stony Brook inlet provides a picturesque setting that is simply breathtaking.
Emma and Dave chose to hold their reception at the Old Field Club, and it was a wonderful decision. The venue was the perfect choice for their special day. However, their choice of venue wasn't the only thing that made their day special. Their reception was held at St. Thomas Moore, a parish with deep roots in Emma's family, which made the church feel like home for her side of the family.
The day was filled with love, laughter, and beautiful moments that I was able to capture through my lens. One of the highlights of the day was the formals taken at the Old Field Lighthouse. It was the perfect location for intimate portraits, and the lighting was simply perfect. The lighthouse helped to engrain the historic area into their wedding day, making it even more special and memorable.
Emma and Dave, thank you again for letting me capture such an important day in both of your lives. It was an honor and a pleasure to be a part of your special day, and I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness.
