An Old Field Club Wedding | Casey and James

I had the pleasure of working with Casey and James to capture their big day at the Old Field Club in Stony Brook back in 2019. As a Long Island native, the venue is one of my personal favorites, so when they approached me, I was thrilled to accept their request.

However, about a year later, the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, and the wedding industry was no exception. The mandates and restrictions put in place meant that many couples had to postpone or cancel their weddings, causing a lot of stress and uncertainty. Despite the difficulties, Casey and James remained positive and hopeful that they would still be able to have their dream wedding.

In 2020, they decided to hold a small ceremony at Verde, a restaurant on the south shore with a stunning greenhouse. This allowed them to officially tie the knot and move forward with their lives as a married couple. They remained positive and hopeful, believing that they would still have the opportunity to celebrate their love with all their family and friends.

Finally, in 2021, they celebrated with a band and had their dream wedding. It was an incredibly special day filled with love, laughter, and joy. I felt honored to be a part of it and to capture those precious moments for them.

I am in awe of Casey and James's resilience and positivity throughout the challenges they faced. They are a true testament to the power of love and the human spirit. Congratulations to the happy couple, and I wish them a lifetime of happiness and love together.

Congrats again, Casey & James.
