Golden Hour Engagement Sessions | Casey & Jim at Prosser Pines

Golden hour light is honestly something that is hard to explain. It’s soft, yet contrasty and creates a glow that no external or artificial light source can replicate and it’s why it’s my favorite time to take pictures. As a wedding photographer on Long Island, we get an abundance of natural light because of the relatively flat terrain.

When Casey and Jim were looking to schedule their session at golden hour, my heart lit up gold (terrible pun, don’t laugh at that) and we looked up sunset times.

They were adorable and we had an amazing time capturing some amazing moments at Prosser Pines. I am very excited to be capturing their special day later this year as their wedding photographer at The Old Field Club in Setauket, New York.
