An Oheka Castle Wedding | Maleah And Thomas

Long Island is the perfect setting for the book The Great Gatsby, which takes you back to the roaring 20s and the wild debauchery that happened on east and west egg within a few hundred pages. It's a place where the past meets the present, and you can feel the history and culture of the place with every step you take.

Speaking of places that transport you to another time, have you ever been to Oheka Castle? If not, you're missing out on one of the most stunning and picturesque venues in New York. When I stepped into Oheka, I felt like I was stepping into that book. The grand architecture, the lush gardens, and the timeless charm of the place are truly breathtaking. It's no wonder that Oheka Castle is a popular spot for weddings and other special events.

In fact, that's precisely why Maleah reached out to me. She wanted me to capture her and Thomas's wedding day, which was to be held at Oheka Castle. When she first contacted me, I didn't know where we would be shooting. All I had was the date and a few emails, but I said yes without a second thought. And boy, am I glad I did!

After a few phone calls, I found out that the reception would be held at Oheka Castle, and I couldn't have been more thrilled. This was the Oheka Castle! I knew that I was going to have a lot of opportunities to take some truly spectacular photos.

On your wedding day, you'll experience raw human emotions—the kind you rarely see on a regular day. My job is to capture the essence of it. From the excitement and anticipation to the tears and pure joy, I'll help you tell the story of your love and deliver timeless, energetic, spirited wedding photos that you'll want to revisit time and time again.

The engagement session went perfectly. It's hard to believe that Maleah and Thomas had never taken a photo together because they were so natural and fun to photograph. They had a chemistry that made taking photos feel as if I was invisible and was following them through their walk at Robert Moses Beach. Did you know there's a skull there? It was a real treat getting to know them as a couple and seeing their love for each other firsthand.

Fast forward to their big day in November, and wow, where do I begin? Meleah looked stunning in her dress, which honestly looked like it was made for her. The intricate details and the way it hugged her curves were breathtaking. Thomas looked sharp with his tux and Omega watch. He gave off James Bond vibes, to be honest. That same chemistry that we saw on the south shore was there when he first saw Maleah coming down the aisle, and it was there during their first dance. It will be there forever.

As a photographer, it's always an honor to be invited into people's lives and to capture their special moments. I'm grateful to Maleah and Thomas for allowing me to be part of their big day, and I'm proud of the photos that we created together. Thank you both for allowing me to share not just one but two special days with you and your family. It was a pleasure capturing these beautiful pictures, and I hope that you'll treasure them for years to come.
